Commission Terms

General Information

Commissioned artworks by Nina Kipper are individual, concept-driven works developed in direct dialogue with the client within the framework of Human Resonance.

Each commission is a collaborative process between artistic intention and client context (space, atmosphere, emotional focus).

Process & Development

The commission process typically includes:

  • initial consultation (online or in person)

  • definition of format, scale and general direction

  • conceptual alignment within the artistic practice of Nina Kipper

  • creation phase within the studio

Throughout the process, artistic interpretation remains an essential part of the work.

Final artworks may differ from initial sketches, ideas or references shared during the consultation phase, as part of the artistic development process.

Payment Terms

Commissioned works require a non-refundable deposit before production begins. The remaining balance is due upon completion of the artwork and prior to shipment.

Production will only begin once the deposit has been received.

Approval & Artistic Freedom

Depending on the nature of the commission, two types of works may apply:

1. Studio-Aligned Commissions

Works developed within the existing visual and conceptual language of Nina Kipper.
These may, under certain conditions, be eligible for return in accordance with the general Return Policy.

2. Fully Custom Commissions

Works that include specific client requests such as:

  • personalized content

  • predefined color schemes outside the studio practice

  • text, symbols or figurative requirements

  • highly individual conceptual instructions

These works are considered fully personalized and are therefore excluded from cancellation and return rights.

The classification is always agreed in writing prior to the start of production.

Timeline

Production timelines are individually determined and depend on:

  • complexity of the work

  • current studio schedule

  • drying and material processes

  • size and format

Estimated timelines will be communicated before the start of the commission. Delays due to artistic process or material conditions are possible and do not constitute grounds for cancellation.

Revisions & Changes

Minor adjustments may be discussed during the early stages of the process.

Once production has started, significant changes to concept, scale or direction may no longer be possible or may result in additional costs.

Shipping

All shipping conditions follow the general Shipping Policy of Nina Kipper.

Custom crates or specialized transport may be required for commissioned works.

Copyright & Usage

All commissioned artworks remain the intellectual property of Nina Kipper.

The purchase of a commissioned artwork does not transfer copyright or reproduction rights.

Nina Kipper reserves the right to document and use commissioned works for portfolio, exhibition, publication and promotional purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Reproduction, digital use or AI training based on commissioned works is strictly prohibited without prior written consent.
