Return & Cancellation Policy

Nina Kipper wants collectors to feel genuinely connected to the works they bring into their spaces.
If, after receiving an artwork, you feel it is not the right fit, return requests may be made within 14 days of delivery.

To initiate a return, please contact the studio in writing within this period.

Return Conditions

Returned artworks must be shipped back within 7 days after confirmation of the return request.

All artworks must be returned in their original condition, including:

  • artwork

  • framing

  • certificate of authenticity

  • accompanying materials

  • original packaging where possible

Artworks may be carefully unpacked, viewed and temporarily installed for evaluation purposes. However, returned works must remain undamaged and unaltered.

Refunds can only be issued for artworks returned in unchanged and undamaged condition.

If damage occurs due to improper handling, insufficient packaging or uninsured return shipment, refunds may be reduced or refused accordingly.

Return Shipping & Insurance

Return shipping costs, customs fees, taxes and transport insurance are the responsibility of the buyer.

All returns must be fully insured and professionally packaged for transport.

For larger works or custom-crated shipments, professional art transport services may be required.

Exclusions from Returns & Cancellation

The following items may be excluded from cancellation and return rights:

  • commissioned artworks

  • personalized works

  • custom framing solutions

  • client-specific adaptations

  • works created upon individual request

Details regarding return eligibility for commissioned works are clarified individually before production begins.

International Orders

For international orders outside Germany, shipping costs are calculated individually and invoiced separately prior to dispatch.

International shipping charges, customs duties, import taxes and related costs are non-refundable.

Buyers are responsible for all import procedures and local regulations in their destination country.

Refund Processing

Refunds are processed after the artwork has safely arrived back at the studio and has been inspected.

Approved refunds will be issued using the original payment method where possible.

Questions Before Purchase

If you are uncertain about scale, framing or placement, personal guidance is always available before purchase.

This may include:

  • digital wall previews

  • framing consultations

  • video calls

  • studio appointments

  • curated selections for private or professional spaces

The goal is always to find the right resonance between artwork, space and collector.

Shipping Policy

General Information

All artworks are carefully prepared, packaged and shipped from the studio of Nina Kipper in Germany.

Shipping is arranged with the highest attention to the safety, integrity and presentation of each individual work.

Shipping Within Germany

Shipping within Germany is included unless otherwise stated.

Delivery is arranged via insured art shipping services or trusted logistics partners depending on the size and nature of the artwork.

International Shipping

International shipping is available worldwide.

Shipping costs for international and overseas orders are calculated individually based on size, destination and transport requirements. A separate shipping quotation will be issued prior to dispatch and must be confirmed and paid by the buyer before shipping.

All international shipping costs are charged separately and are non-refundable.

Packaging & Handling

Each artwork is packaged according to its specific requirements.

Smaller works are securely protected for standard shipping.

Large-scale works may require custom-built wooden crates and specialized art transport handling. Production of crates may extend preparation time prior to shipment.

All packaging is designed to ensure maximum protection during transport.

Delivery Times

Delivery times vary depending on:

  • artwork size and format

  • framing requirements

  • crate production (if required)

  • destination country

  • current studio workload

Estimated delivery times are communicated individually for each order.

Smaller works are typically ready for dispatch within 1–3 business days.
Larger works may require up to 10 business days or more depending on preparation requirements.

Customs, Duties & Import Taxes

For all international orders outside Germany, the buyer is responsible for all customs duties, import taxes and local handling fees.

These costs are not included in the artwork price or shipping fees and are to be settled directly with the relevant authorities or shipping providers.

Risk & Responsibility

Risk transfers to the buyer once the artwork has been handed over to the shipping carrier.

All shipments are fully insured during transport.

In case of damage during shipping, claims must be reported immediately with photographic documentation.

Special Transport

For large-scale works or complex installations, specialized fine art transport may be required.

In such cases, delivery timelines, costs and logistics will be coordinated individually with the buyer.
